Day Camp

Probably the biggest smiles of the day, as the heat is oppressive and poor R and C are in an outdoor soccer day camp this week. I am feeling guilty as I begin feeling light-headed the second I step out of the AC. They're young and tough, right? And they do get swimming pool time in the afternoons. Still, it is REALLY hot, 35C on the thermometer plus 70% humidity. Ugh. I spotted a few fireflies outside tonight, or perhaps they were ordinary flies who had overheated ;-)

A day in the heat certainly did make for early bedtimes tonight for the kids. Well, early sleep anyways. R crashed on the couch and C on the living room floor.
