Memory is the diary we all carry with us,
A very early morning for us as we went to the Parc Slip Memorial (see extra photos) My regular blippers will know we attend every year, as my great grandfather was killed in the mining disaster in 1892. A good turn out, as you can see, and afterwards we went to Karries for breakfast. They kindly opened early, so it was a great to carry on chatting to some of the visitors. The path up to the memorial was very muddy, and I did wear boots, but I should have worn my wellies, as J reminded me.
My title is a quote by Oscar Wilde.
