Monsoon Sunset

It is a testament to this very strange and difficult year that when I downloaded this image from my D90's SD card, I found hundreds of images dating back to December that have been languishing in solitary confinement on the card. Some of the images are good, yet I never found time to download and process them. Hopefully, life will offer some breathing room in the future so that I may back blip some pictures of better quality than the smart phone pictures that have unfortunately dominated my journal as of late.

This evening, the smell of rain is in the air. The wind is whipping. The temperature is a cool 89F (31.6C). I really wanted to go for a walk and enjoy the weather. Instead, I made sure Bob took a shower, as it is important to stick to routine when he has to get up early in the morning. And, being struck by lightning is not something I would like to have happen to me. We haven't had rain in 3 months. So I do hope the plants get some rain.
