Finding Reykjavik street art
After seeing our luggage getting stowed into a van to be taken to the Ocean Adventurer, we spent an enjoyable morning looking for street art. (Thanks HazelH for the idea). In doing so we found some lovely old streets. It was so warm in the sun.
Then we walked to the dock to look at the ship. It looks about the same size as Sergei Vavilof, the ex-Russian research ship we went on to Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica. Also under 100 passengers.
We walked round d the dock area to see a land form, by artist Olaf Nordal. Not quite Charles Jencks’s Northumberlandia. From there we could look back at our boat but I was facing the sun so the photo wasn’t any good.
After our 5 miles walking we are relaxing in the hotel before being bussed to the boat after which no WiFi so here’s my blip for today. I couldn’t decide on which mural to choose so it’s a collage. I wonder which you prefer.
