Morning Walk on the Common

Just a few miles from the centre of Plymouth and you are on Roborough Down. Despite being close to the busy Plymouth to Tavistock road it has a surprisingly wild feel. At this time of year there are two types of heather in flower in addition to the yellow flowers of the gorse and the red berries on the Rowan trees. To the right there are distant views of the Dartmoor tors. A nice place for a short, bank-holiday, morning walk!
