mellow yellow

I find  difficult to capture yellow flowers accurately because the camera meter often overexposes the pale flowers. But this morning we had the perfect overcast to saturate the colors and darken the background so that this little beauty really popped.
When I used my plant identifier on this photo it came back as prickly lettuce, aka milk thistle.
