MonoMonday: (Candle) Power

Today was one of those relatively rare days this summer when the power of the sun was adequate here in the northeast for us to sit outside for lunch. One of the advantages of the rather poor summer has been that there's been a much smaller number of wasps appearing when there's food around, but today one pesky one took a liking to my Editor's salad and wouldn't take the hint to go away. So she remembered that she had this outdoor candle (many years old) and thought we should see if it had enough power to keep the wasp away - and hey presto, it did! The wasp seemed initially attracted to the flame but beat a hasty retreat when it came close. My Editor then pointed out that it would fit ApolloFly's MM challenge today - blip sorted!
