Violet, Dorothy and Kathleen

A quick glimpse into a Stromness close as I shopped for the Current Mrs Creel.  Yet another vapid addition.  Or is it inept? Or both? The Current Mrs Creel and myself intrepidly ventured into the unknown today – we tried to open a new online banking account for the Friends of the Hoy Kirk.  We have even tried closing the existing account (with another bank).  We shall see.  Just as we completed the proposal form Choo Choo turned up unexpectedly with his wife and Phoebe (aged 10).  They had just returned from the Balfour hospital, for Phoebe has broken her upper arm in two places.  But one location.  Although Choo Choo was brought up in Hoy he is domiciled on the south coast of England, so they will have to take her to their closest hospital when back at home.  The Current Mrs Creel swithered about departing to do some jobs at the Bolt Hole but was misguided by a wildly inaccurate forecast.  I went along to the GP late p.m. for an update.  They hadn’t weighed me for 12 years.  The practice nurse said it was a routine check but it looked more like a light gingham to me.
