Heebie-jeebies
Well not really - today has been quietly productive.
Firstly the carpet fit came this morning to measure the hall for our new carpet. Hopefully this will be fitted next month. Secondly the builder who will be renovating our garage came round to measure for trusses. Hopefully this work will be started early in the Autumn - we had been hoping to get it done earlier but there have been various delays.
After lunch I went into town to run a few errands, including returning swimming boots I'd bought a couple of weeks ago as the seam split, taking one of my packets of antibiotics back to the chemists as it was a pack of 15 rather than 21 and picking up a book from the Station Bookshop (A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, my next book for my other book group).
I also went back to the exhibition at the John Muir Trust shop and bought a print.
Once back I planrted these and two other hebes along with two lingonberry bushes in a bed which T had recently cleared. I will also put bark down around them.
I will now get on with my Gaelic Homework. This includes writing a short piece to read out on class on the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band. This took me down several rabbit hours as I read more about them and former players.
Dh'obair mi anns a' gharradh. Choisich mi gu meadan a' bhaile cuichead. Cheannaich mi dealbh.
