My chopper

My new toy arrived this afternoon. I’m excited. The branches are very concerned. Probably not as concerned as Mrs Smith though.

There have been lots of ash trees cut down along the riverbank because of ash dieback disease. So I’ll be wandering up and down the hill with a rucksack full of logs in the days ahead. Unless, of course, I’m in A&E.

Apart from that, we went into town to sort out Joe’s room ahead of his imminent return from the US of A.
