Fika!

Sophia and I spent the bank holiday visiting a café just up the road from us that I've wanted to try for a while, Fika North! On the way there, we stopped at the Oxfam bookshop and got some new notebooks from Sainsbury's too that we plan to use for our café dates, date nights, etc. 

At the café, Sophia got a smoothie, and I had a hot chocolate with hazelnut syrup that was DELICIOUS! And we both had a vegan pastrami bagel that was also amazing. It wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny! We used our new notebooks to write and compare our top 10 movies, artists, series, etc. Sophia eventually got the same hot chocolate I had had, and I got myself a cookie and some diet coke, before heading back home. 

We really enjoyed the visit to the café, and our friend and housemate, Sadie, has just got come back after being back home/in Greece for a couple of months, so we are going to play some Switch games this evening. 


Otherwise this weekend, Sunday was uneventful, but Saturday Sophia and I tried a new pizza place called Mr Dough, which was delicious and had incredible prices! And we watched the first X-Men movie. Overall, a very enjoyable bank holiday weekend!
