Boats

There are lots of boat trips available around the caldera of Santorini.  We remembered the wonderful trip we had several years ago when we first visited the island, and decided to book another one for today.

The trip, on a well equipped catamaran like one visible in my blip, started from Oia in the north and travelled around the central remains of the volcano, finishing up on the south of the island at sunset.  There were stops en-route for us to go swimming from the back of the boat in the crystal clear waters, and an excellent barbecue meal was provided.  It was a very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable day.
