I spy a hedgehog!

When you go into the Kirkwall library, you never know where this woman will be or what she'll be wearing or holding. They like to keep us amused! 

Lots of weeding alongside the path this afternoon.  It was hard going, being eaten alive with midges and trying to avoid being stung by nettles at the same time. Not the most enjoyable of pastimes. Lottie found the whole thing very boring so we went for a wander along the shore and looked for shards of pottery (me) and things to eat or roll on (her)!
