Spiderweb

A spiderweb in the morning sun.

I originally went outside to see if I could get any bird shots before things got too hot. There just aren’t that many birds about right now.

My MSer friend Jolanda called me and we talked for a good long while. While we talked, I began to pull some of the grass & weeds from my circular garden.

After talking with Jolanda, to give myself a break from the heat, I went over to the Keeter’s and finally took them the “Thistle” sun catcher I had gotten them while in Scotland. Heard the exciting news that they were getting a kitten this evening from Friends of Felines, so will need to go over in a couple of days and check the wee guy out.

Despite the heat I decided to push myself and finished pulling the grass & weeds from the circular garden and then did the same along the brick boarder around the cat garden. It took me a while as I took frequent breaks.

Just as I finished up, Kent got home and he went to the front of the house and started cutting back the eyeliner lilies and I pulled up the bamboo stakes I use to help keep them from falling over

After my shower, I wasn’t good for anything else!!
