Book club was at my house today. Donna was here too but she had to leave before I took these photos.

As always we had many things to talk about, some very sad, some happy, and some in the middle. I won’t go into the details. Funny thing is we said very little about the book. One had finished it. One was in the middle. And they both didn’t like it. The rest of us hadn’t read it and vetoed the idea to extend the time and picked a new book for September. That one is called “The Good Lord Bird.”

After everyone left I did the dishes and took a nap. I’m glad I can do that. Cory slept on my lap as I dozed in the recliner.
