A day on the trains

Back home in Aylesbury after the trip to Luxembourg.

The blip is of the magnificent Cathedral Notre-Dame of Luxembourg. Very memorable for the stained glass and for the three spires visible form many places in the city.

An interesting short break in a small country land locked by Belgium, France and Germany but with a style of its own. Lovely countryside, green fields, lots of cattle grazing, very extensive woodland and all so green. The country has maintained it's independence and moved with the times so economically it felt secure. Well worth a visit and the bonus of free public transport on buses, trams and trains for all residents and visitors. Lessons for others to learn perhaps.

Back blipped.
