Little people

These little figures are on an ancient chest that has travelled from Asia somewhere early last century, to England, to Kenya, to South Africa and back to England. 
It has definitely seen better days - the lock went a long time ago and it could do with an intimate dusting - but it still has the wonderful camphor scent when opened.
