One autumnal face

Having finally completed all the finishing touches for the craft supplies for H’s birthday play date on Saturday, I took myself out for a short break in the garden in the sunshine. I was looking for something a bit colourful to blip, being conscious that my last two entries were somewhat lacking in the colour department.

Unfortunately, though, the garden is looking rather sad at the moment, quite autumnal, with very little of interest to photograph. Of the several photos that I took, the one that I liked most was this scabious, which is growing in the flower bed beside the brick path that leads to the hedgehog feeding station. 

Other than that, the only other news to report is that the local branch of Mum’s Laundry Service has been working overtime for the past few days and the company’s sole employee is somewhat weary.
