As we came back from our walk this morning I noticed something bright by the verge.   Pleased to see a moth/butterfly which I didn't recognise and have now identified as a Jersey Tiger Moth.   According to my source they are not usually found this far east so I can only assume it's been blown off course from the recent gales.
Poor thing did look on it's last legs, so, as it was away from danger I left well alone.
