Pheasant on Fence

This male pheasant has taken to hanging around in my small wild garden, but quickly flies off if I try to get a photo, today I stayed far enough away that it stopped on the trellis. A quiet day, I walked into town this morning - it was quite busy just before lunchtime. This afternoon I did a little bit of weeding, then sat reading the paper and listening to my audiobook - making the most of the hazy sunshine.
