A grey morning
with sunshine later in the afternoon.
I had to collect the Cat van from a garage in Tobermory, the idea was to travel in by bus - it passes by our road end. However after waiting for more than thirty minutes it didn’t arrive. One neighbour chatted as he cleared rhododendron, another appeared and asked if I would like a lift. Yes please.
I’m not a fan of umbrellas, today I was pleased to have one to hold off the driving rain.
I was meeting a Cat friend at Glenforsa cafe although arriving fifteen minutes late, thank goodness for mobile phones. We had a chat for a few hours over a light lunch, all very pleasant with a misty view looking over to the Sound of Mull in the distance. I even plucked up courage to ask about approaching the cafe for a contribution to the CP Christmas raffle - with a positive response. It’s that time of year, nearly.
