Cleared Up

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Mini Princesses and I went shopping for curtains and light shades for The Youngest Mini Princess’s flat.

Shopping with YMP is always entertaining. She has VERY firm opinions.

Example conversation:

Me/EMP: “What about this?”

YMP: “No, it’s disgusting.”

Me/EMP: “So that’s a no?”

In fairness, she genuinely isn’t being rude. She just doesn’t do sugar coating.

Towards the end of our very amusing but fairly long (4 hour) trip, we’d all just about had enough when YMP pointed out a light shade in Dunelm that she was considering for the living room.

Me: “I think It’s probably too small”

YMP: “What do you mean?”

I wasn’t entirely sure how to answer but EMP interjected.

“She means that…It’s. Not. Big: Enough”

And EMP and I absolutely lost it. Genuine tears rolling down our faces laughing with YMP looking at us like we were aliens.

I was still laughing on the way home in the car!
