Tiny Tuesday 483 :: TT483 :: Wood

'Wooden Tops' a phase often used by the CID when talking about their uniformed colleagues. They forget they once wore uniform...

These two wooden policemen were whittled by me over 25 years ago. Not the smallest whittling I have done but works well with today's theme of wood. 

Police helmets were once made from cork, these days they need to be a little stronger but getting use to the change in weight back in the 80's cause some neck ache.
