Painting Day 2
I followed through on my plan to complete the painting today. Half of the door wall and the wall with the sideboard on and all done by a late lunch. Some tidying up in the garden and then I started to put everything back. Bailey's supervisory position when I was trying to rehang the curtains wasn't particularly helpful. I'm a bit happier with the colour with everything back in place and I think it will grow on me. It is certainly better than the magnolia. I have listened to the audiobook of Shaun Bythell's (owner of The Bookshop in Wigtown) Diary of a Bookseller whilst I have painted and am half way through the second instalment Confessions of a Bookseller. The first one counts as book number Twenty-Nine this year. It was a good backdrop to painting but I think the book would have been a bit repetitive. I'll stick to listening to them, I think. And tonight I have made and ordered by photobook from my holidays so that's another job ticked off the list.
