Sian I’m a copse

These trees are in a golf course and are huge. This particular copse had a huge oak with a Rowan tree just by its side and to the left if you have the option to zoom in there is a sweet chestnut tree! We are staying at Sian’s parents in law and they have been very hospitable! We had a delicious meal and were there Guinea pigs for Jane’s new dish of cauliflower cheese made with Stilton, delicious, which went with the ham, peas potatoes and braised celery. It was followed by salted caramel icecream and preceded and accompanied by a very strong gin and tonic! Fortunately I am in the top of the house so they shouldn’t hear me snoring which I have a tendency to do if I have had a drink!

We also watched the second part of Freddie Flintiffs trip to India with his protégées from Preston . It was fascinating to see them being out of their comfort zones but learning to cope with difficulties!
