she finally got to sleep at around 8.25 after complaining her room was too hot and that she was missing mummy (it's late-shift week) and that she loved me so much she didn't want to close here eyes and miss anything.

Now it sounds cute, but at the time it was a true test.

I want to thank everyone who has left comments of support on my blips over the past few months, especially those of you who said such nice things over the last couple of weeks whilst Dad was in hospital. Cheers all, you're a fab bunch.
