Sixth Grade!!

Z’s first day of Middle School was much anticipated —- excitement , nervousness, lots of questions etc etc. My son kept the tradition alive of reading “Quick as a Cricket” the night before to Z with M listening in. It’s a great book to support all the emotions you might go through facing new experiences. And lets you know they are normal and all ok to feel. I read it to my son and he now reads it to his children …. Warms my heart.
You can see that M adores her big brother and she gave him a very nice send off . Z’s bus driver introduced himself and seemed caring and friendly. That’s great as it’s the first person they see each day as part of the school day. Having made a career of doing that I know it’s importance;);)!
