love a bit of Tom Petty ....never felt sooo hot in this country...just lounging round the house in my grundies and occasionally taking a plunge in the girls cold pool for a wee float around and cool off...
watched the girls school play this morning ,, chitty chitty bang bang .. and what agreat job they all done ..welled up i dont mind saying.. its not just the fact of my girls.. its their history in the making,, the marking of time.. their friends.. the significance of it...i know thye will never forget this time, their friends and for the girls its the first waymarker in life they will remember clearly.. last few days of infants and turning into big girls in the juniors with their blazers and ties..gone are the kiddy kids...sad n happy at the same time..
