Wilma

I looked after Leo this morning which went well. Joti has a cough and snotty nose so she was a bit off but the kids had fun!

At school Spence is learning about weather and today was the first day that ins of the kids got to take home 'Wilma the weather wombat'! Spence was chosen to go first so he had to take her outside and observe the weather tonight.

We went out at about 5pm when the sun had gone down so it was a bit cooler but it was still light and observed! Then later at about 7pm we went out again when it was really dark and we could see the moon and stars. We got Kaz's telescope out and looked at the moon (which looked really cool), Spence said it looked like cheese! We also saw the Southern Cross, the lights of a couple of helicopters and an airplane!

Spence was so excited to be outside looking at it all and especially about getting to use Kaz's telescope!
