Built 1615, for Sir John Byers. St Mary's Cathedral was built on the adjoining land 200+ years later. Canmore

Wet morning, rain went off before I walked over to the cathedral for another recital - they are on for the rest of this week. India Reilly just graduated from the St Mary's music school; she played, without any music and with great aplomb

The Dvorak and Ravel had substantial piano accompaniment from John Cameron, Director of Music at the school.
There were at least 150 people in the church for the performance which made a good crowd. 

Back to the flat; sorted out some things, more rain showers when we went out for provisions. Very mild although windy .. 20C high.
