Day 2: Beginning to unwind in the Hunter Valley

After a lovely day pottering around the wineries we returned to our villa and I set up my computer to save our photos. After a while I was so pleased to see my better half sitting out on the front verandah peacefully engrossed in her book. It's a strange photo but I like it. We've needed a break after the devastating loss of my very close friend, P, and this is what I wanted to see.

The extra shows some of the vines at the Tyrells vineyard. Tyrells was one of my favourites 50 years ago and one of the few where you can still go to into an old tin shed to taste the wine. It was great to see it again.
