Fading memories

...and crumbling walls.

This is what's left of 'The Wee Shoppe'. Not exactly what you would call a thriving business when I first blipped it back in May 2013 but at least it opened now and again when the sun shone. The Covid pandemic killed it off and presumably some of its clientele too and weather, time and neglect did the rest. Nothing left these days but a reminder of a time when you could buy an ice lolly for 25p, get a GP appointment and didn't need a second income to pay your gas bill. Not that 'The Wee Shoppe' provided health care and energy utilities. Ice cream, hot snacks, toys, tea and coffee was their speciality.

Perhaps they should have diversified...
