Day 2 - Hunter Valley wineries

We had a lovely day driving around the Pokolbin and Broke areas of the Hunter Valley. Most of the vines are still bare but in a few places they are just beginning to show their first new green leaves. 
It’s several decades since we spent time in the Hunter Valley and  in some ways it was a simpler time. You visited working wineries and wine tasting often happened in a shed at the winery. Now, parts of the Hunter seem a little like a theme park with shopping villages, sophisticated restaurants  and amusements  for the kids.
We were relieved to see that Tyrell’s, which was one of MountGrace’s favourites, seems much the same (extra).
