Street Corner Series

NE Broadway at NE 22nd

Busy and productive day.  And a day full of randomly interesting conversations and observations from people on their city lives here, there, and other places.  Funny to have so many in one day on this theme.  

At the end of the day the Lyft driver and I got talking about basketball - he was wearing a lot of basketball gear and very tall and does play but loves soccer - he was telling me about the upcoming Serbian Festival (he had me photograph the flyer on his phone, he wanted to make sure I had all the details!) and his life since moving from Belgrade in '99. His cousin plays basketball at college in Vermont but at the professional level in Serbia.
