The situation by the community refuse bins is worsening. Large items which will not fit in the dumpsters or recycling bins should not be left here, but taken to the council tip (or a call to the local offices can arrange a collection from your house for free). There is no excuse for fly-tipping, which only seems to happen in tourist season. Taking an artistic eye to the scene, I am reminded of a Tracey Emin piece with a nautical theme.
