Travel
Late morning Mrs BB and I drove twenty minutes to Garway Hill (Herefordshire, England UK) with the daughter's dogs we are minding to take them for a long walk. We can see Garway Hill with it's mast and World War 2Pill Box from our back garden. Besides expansive 360 degree views looking over England it also has a superb view of The Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains in the opposite direction.
This week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge theme is 'travel' and as luck would have it, a herd of wild horses were all around a pond. They weren't bothered as we approached and I took the photo' - ideal for travel!
The extra is of Mrs BB with dogs Mollie and Milo sat outside the 1942 Pill Box on top of the hill next to the trig point. It was a radio antenna base for the World War 2 effort but was never actually used for some reason!
Getting home, the new 5G router arrived and was easy enough to set up. We have Fast Fibre in the lane at our entrance but Open Reach won't connect the nine of us - not financially viable! Only BT will provide a landline but broadband speeds are dire. I've been using 4G for the last year but it was only slightly better. The 5G that's now in our area seems to 'fly' in comparison and the 20Mb photo's upload in seconds compared to a couple of minutes on 4G!
Cardiff City FC play Southampton in the League Cup tonight. That'll be a good test for the new 5G!
