'If its rain you want, you have it.' Paraphrased from a line in Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves,  'If its pain you want, you have it!'  This is a result
of all the rain we have had: rivers and lakes are high and in places flooded land.

This is Ashness Jetty, where a sign on the support say' Slippery when wet!'
At least you can use this jetty (when the water level drops) as it was damaged a few months ago.
Then a wet trip to Watendlath passing 'Surprise View,' although the tourists saw nothing of that view today.
