Wide Wednesday: River Cruise

Tess and I drove to Avalon Marshes late morning and walked a footpath we haven’t tried before, in the opposite direction to the one we often walk.

There were plenty of swans cruising serenely down river, which suited the theme for today’s challenge nicely.

Afterwards we stopped for a lunch of cheese scones at the cafe.

This afternoon Kate, Joel & Sophie came over and Chris joined us for a meal at Wagamama’s, a sort of end of summer holidays celebration, although Kate & Sophie don’t actually start school again until next week!
