My lot.
Such a lovely day today. I had a gorgeous little mindee until 3pm when I finished for the day. Jack and Erin's big sister arrived then to visit for the aft and stay the night so she came with me to collect them from school. The smiles on their faces were priceless as they came running out to her nearly knocking her over in the process.
We all headed down to the beach and had great fun in the sun playing games, paddling, catching up and having ice-cream and chippy tea. The twins loved it and so did Micha and I. We stayed down until about 8pm and then popped into the amusements on the way home too. Jack and Erin were very sleepy and fell asleep better than they have in days as they have been struggling of course with the heat.
Micha and I then sat and chatted over a drink before heading up too.
Very proud Mummy moment for me today was receiving Jack and Erin's school report. Both were brilliant they were at the expected level in a few areas of learning but were exceeding in most. I will share with you a few lines from each report.
"Erin has been a delightful member of the class who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about all aspects of the curriculum. She is full of life and is like a little sponge who takes in everything that is said to her. She always works hard and does her absolute best............I look forward to seeing her smiling face ready to learn, every day......She is an absolute pleasure to have in the class.
"Jack is a great little character and a popular member of the class. He is funny, thoughtful, helpful, bubbly and full of fun. Jack is always smiling and happy in class. He is highly motivated to learn and get things right. He works hard all the time........... He is willing to adjust his learning to make it better and I am very pleased with how he concentrates and does his best. He has a head full of knowledge and wants to gain more and more. This is wonderful. Keep this up Jack. You have been a pleasure to teach."
Over the moon with how well they are doing.
