Brian's Bits

Local expression.

Spelling = phonetic and optional - "Dead Scrowpy!"  (I'll let you guess.)  Today we were at "Melki" and had an extended Coffee-break until it stopped raining.
Looking out I spotted what appeared to be a levitating Spider.  Before we got outside the light changed and I was able to see, BOTH, the Web, which was vertical and accepted for why I thought it was levitating; in the better light it was so obvious that I couldn't understand how I missed it.
I had, earlier taken a clear, Spiderless, shot for ID purposes; we all thought it was some form of Aconite.  I asked my software on the clear shoot and it said "Wolfsbane".
I looked further, online, "Is there a white Wolfsbane?" and learnt  "White Monkshood, Trailing Wolfsbane, White Aconite. Phen: Jun-Sep. Hab: Rich cove forests, particularly along brookbanks, in seepages, ~ ~ ~ ~"
However in this shot I was after the Arachnid and GOT IT.  I was a bit chuffed, considering it was taken through the Window and about 2-3 metres distant.
