Edinburgh Fringe
We went to the Fringe today!
We decided to take the train and got turned away of the 11;15 one because it was full!
Had a coffee and got the next train.
We arrived and had a walk along the Royal Mile before going to Côte Brasserie for a French lunch.
We had planned to go to Chez Jules so that I will finally get my frog legs, but they were fully booked.
The food and the service was lovely.
We had the weekend special sharing platter with steak, half a chicken and pork belly. It was really good.
Then we went to the first show:
The Imitator - it was fun. a lovely story and a guz who was amazing in imitation all sorts of well known music. It was well put together and he was truly amazing at his art.
Then we walked to the meadows to watch Human 2.0 - incredible acrobatics - so amazing to watch.
Next was back to George Street to see Rouge.
Half way through one of the guzs injured himself and the show was cancelled and we were all sent off.
It was a bit of an anti climax and we felt a bit deflated.
We ended up going to Café Royal for a wine and then to St James Center for a desert at a very strange dessert restaurant.
Then back to the station grabbing a train home.
Back in Glasgow we walked to the taxi rank to get home.
It was a long day.
