Corvedale Trees and The Clees

Busy day today, cleaning road signs and cutting back serious foliage. Three of the hazard warning signs were so consumed by 'shrubbery' that they were lost to sight. And unwary drivers could miss important warnings about speed limits, concealed entrances, bridle crossings etcetera.

It is a good feeling and all this effort is recorded for posterity on the Sign Cleaning Enthusiasts group on facebook.

For relaxation I went with Hollie out along the dale for a walk in glorious evening light.

Mrs I has been at her dad's most of the day. 95 years of age and in the first flush of youth, he will outlive us all!

We settled down to a heartwarming meal of sausage and mash with veg, minted gravy and worcestershire sauce, and watched the first part of the final episode of  Vienna Blood. My current favourite show. It is superb.

That's all for now, day off tomorrow and some socialising is on the cards.

Thanks for humouring me, till next time!
