Press begins

Up early and flew to Glasgow to start the launch of Nightsleeper.  First off was interviews at the BBC building at Pacific Quays with cast members Alexandra Roach and Leah MacRae.  The blip shows them doing  a pre record, sitting in the foyer of the building overlooking the Clyde.  After they went into a small studio where they were patched live into a radio show in Edinburgh.  They were both so good at it. 

We then went to the Grosvenor Cinema off Byers Road for the cast and crew screening which doubled as a Glasgow launch.  Lots of crew turned up and friends and family (including @xtoph1 and friends) and it all seemed to go well.  I did a welcome speech and thanked the local crew, I forgot to thank the cast and apologised to Joe Cole (our lead) who said, ‘don’t worry we normally get thanked too much’.  

Good food and drink with  lovely pizzas afterwards - I think we did them all proud.  

Taxi home with Gaynor our Scottish commissioner dropped off at the somewhat shabby Novotel where I was staying.
