The battle of Saintfield

This morning I specifically set out to document the battle of Saintfield in just three photographs.  At the rear of First Saintfield Presbyterian Church there is a small memorial garden, which is quite fitting as fallen soldiers of the York Fencibles lie nearby and in the first image in the triptych you can see two rebel graves.  I love using photography in this way to tell a story, you can see all three images at:
