Baddesley Clinton

Had a pleasant couple of hours at Baddesley Clinton, a moated manor house in Warwickshire, dating from the 15th century.

Owned by a Catholic family it contains at least two priest holes, which saved the lives of several priests when the house was searched by Protestant soldiers in the 16th century.
