The first day of Shrewsbury Folk Festival and we settled into our tents. I had brought a casserole to heat up and we all dined al fresco of course!

Great luck that camping neighbours had a little girl aged about the same as I and they became great friends for the whole weekend.

The band that enjoyed most on Friday was Ladysmith Black Mamboza from South Africa who became famous due to being on Paul Simon's Graceland album.

Great a cappella singing and super harmonies plus energetic kicks and other movements at the same time.
