Guernsey and beyond

The High Street...

...Sark: with Richard on the right.

An hours boat ride from Guernsey, we are here for a few nights - and the weather continues to be glorious.

The Guerns will know this view well - the High Street - no cars, with the only modes of transport being bicycles/horse drawn carriages, with the odd tractor to transport goods.

We are staying in a lovely hotel, Stocks, which has undergone some lovely refurbishment and is one of the few left not owned by the 'Barclay twin brothers' empire (they own and built a castle on the adjacent island of Brecqou)

Looking at blip but not commenting for a few days.
