To bee or not to bee.
Still no more butterflies, but the bees haven’t deserted our garden.
I’m not sure what type this is but hopefully a fellow blipper will know.
This dahlia is their favourite plant at the moment.
It has been a breezy day but mainly warm and sunny. Sat in the garden a while with a cuppa this afternoon, although I can’t help getting up and doing some dead heading.
Our usual six monthly blood pressure check up today and we both passed with flying colours.
Just keep taking the tablets!
While I was waiting for MrC an older gentleman ( actually younger than me!) came to the reception for an appointment, only to be told it wasn’t for our local surgery but one 5 miles away.
An offhand young man told him he would still be able to get there on time.
“ I haven’t a car” he said.
Oh well he was told, you will have to ring up and make another appointment.
To cut a long story short we took him there in our car.
He was most grateful.
MrC chatted along the way and found out they both worked at the same company but at different times. MrC also knew of his uncle who was a very good local footballer.
Small world.
