A day out.

As I had to visit the dentist first thing I decided that I would continue on from the appointment and take  the two oldest grandchildren with me. We were due to have them all day anyway so I suggested I would take them on a nostalgic trip of my childhood haunts and homes. 

We took a picnic and headed off to Bridgwater  were we saw the old Docks. Next on to the  village when I lived for most of my childhood and  we were married at the church. There is now a lovely play area near the church, which provided a super picnic area.  Then on to my old girls school for a look around and finally on the Steart Wildlife reserve for a walk and play on a little beach we found.

The picture was taken at my old school . This is tree I climbed myself many times and is still providing fun for children!

Home by tea time and a fun day had by all!
