Lighthouses

Taken by holding a camera to a telescope, these are the lighthouses on the Isle of May, 5 miles away. In the centre is the current lighthouse, built by Roberrt Stevenson in 1816. It replaced the original coal-burning lighthouse which is the white structure on the left. This used to be higher but was reduced in height so as not to obscure the new light.
